Kat Ruston is an artist based in Vancouver. Her look is from a mixed heritage of Chinese, Spanish, and Filipino. Growing up as an only child, Ruston kept herself busy with manga and video games since she never felt like she was accepted by her peers. However, she was a gifted athlete and ultimately found her niche as a "tomboy". In 2005, she attended a talent search in Las Vegas, where she acquired a scholarship to attend The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.
